Seductive, manipulating and magical

Kurt Demey is a mentalist, mind reader, illusionist and modern magician. Most of all he resembles a cult leader when he enters the stage with his long hair, bare feet and mild eyes – a world apart from the smooth magician in a black suit. In his relaxed and friendly way he manages to draw the audience into his mysterious world.

Here the magic trumps logic when two spectators suddenly get the same impulses, or when a random key offers an endless number of opportunities. The sheer number of impossible coincidences and events is staggering. He manipulates our thoughts so reality is changed, and one must invariably give up any attempt to fathom it all.

Accompanied by Joris Vanvinckenroye’s alluring bass, Kurt Demey creates an enchanting universe where the most incredible things can happen, and the audience sits back all jaw-dropped and in disbelief.
