Fast moving knives, show-off artistry and skilful boy’s play till the very last drop of sweat
Knife thrower, musician, playful child and anarchist Sébastian Wojan throws open the doors to his restless universe full of wildness and punk poetry. It is the ultimate challenge for the death-defying multi artist to be left alone on stage with all his strengths and weaknesses laid bare.
With his colleagues from Galapiat Cirque, he knocked Refshaleøen over backwards with the hit performance Risque Zér0 back in 2014. Marathon is also a fearless desire for risk, of reaching the limit of what is possible, but with the fatigue of a marathon as the dangerous companion.
There is a motley collection of mouse traps, knives, balloons, cactus, paint, dolls, Darth Vader, a feathered Indian and all sorts of musical instruments. There is adrenaline rush, playful inventiveness and seductive musicality. And he will not rest until he is completely and utterly worn-out.
